PHOTOGRAPHIC ALBUM
Columbia, Pennsylvania during Lloyd Mifflin's time was a vibrant place. Like many railroad towns at the turn of the 20th century, it had its share of growing pains and colorful characters. It also had some beautiful architecture, bucolic countryside, and an active riverway.
Many of the images within this video of photographic images were scanned directly from original glass plate negatives, or from archived photographic prints of the time. Our thanks to the Columbia Historic Preservation Society and the Columbia Photographic History Initiative.
